DIY tutorial for Easy boys pirate costume (under £7)

Me an my little boy are going to a Pirates & Princess' party this weekend, very exciting! This post will be about how I created his costume and I will do another post about how I did my Princess Jasmine costume (yes i am getting dressed up to!!!)

Please note when I say under £7 It is because I tried to use what I already had as much as possible. I bought the red t-shirt, stripey tights and skull patch from ebay which came to £6.50 the rest of the stuff I already had and you probably will to!

Pillowcase dress/ bloomers/ drawstring bag

I've been a busy bee this week sewing a little outfit for my niece's Birthday, she is the big 2 today!

Probably can't see from the picture but the floral fabric has green flowers on, so the bloomers compliment the dress very well. I will definitely be making more baby/toddler outfits! Really enjoyed this project and i'm really pleased with the outcome.

Madeleine mini bloomers

So this was on one of my first projects on my new sewing machine! Really pleased with how they turned out, can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can start wearing them! I used the free pattern from coletterie.com
