Decopatch Monogram Hanging Letters Tutorial
As I promised in this post, here is a full entry dedicated to decopatch. I haven't mentioned on here that I am to be married, even though my wedding is a whole year away I am starting with all my decor now because (A.) I just can't wait and (B.) I like to be organised and (C.) as I am doing it all myself it is going to a while! The theme we are having is rustic red roses hence the red rose paper I will be using and the twine to hang.

Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts event
Yesterday was such a good day! Went to the ICHF event Creativestitches & Hobbycrafts at Aintree. Me and a lot of older people it seems young people don't craft or sew anymore!? There was a wide variety of supplies for stitching, dressmaking, beading, knitting, papercrafts, jewellery making, beading, stamping and embossing as well as workshops. Here are my goodies from the day -
Fabrics - the orange one is simply beautiful with floral embroidery . |
Ribbon and Giant buttons, who wouldn't want or need giant buttons!? |
DECOPATCH!!! |
super cute babies/children sewing patterns |
The workshops were so inspiring, the people just made it look effortless. I (tried) made ribbon roses, used a foil machine (they are amazing for handmade invitations), learnt how to decopatch and watched how with a stencil, soap and glitter you can make the most beautiful designs.
Look out for the Decopatch post soon!

Enterprise course
I began a course this week called the enterprise course with the Prince's Trust, It's basically a course for young people wanting to start up their own business. I have learnt so much in the past 2 days, 2 more to go! Hopefully by the end of it (the not revealing the name till i buy the domain) boutique will not only be a dream but a likely reality!

DIY tutorial for Easy boys pirate costume (under £7)
Me an my little boy are going to a Pirates & Princess' party this weekend, very exciting! This post will be about how I created his costume and I will do another post about how I did my Princess Jasmine costume (yes i am getting dressed up to!!!)
Please note when I say under £7 It is because I tried to use what I already had as much as possible. I bought the red t-shirt, stripey tights and skull patch from ebay which came to £6.50 the rest of the stuff I already had and you probably will to!
